Went over to Garfield on this fine fall morning. Beautiful day to be out...for TX.

#1 Checkered setwing female (horrible background but sometimes you take what you can get)

#2 Thornbush dasher male

#3 And, a first for me: incoming thornbush dasher

The inflight shots take a lot of practice even when you 'spray and pray'.

I should've had the perch further right in the frame and a tad more shutterspeed.
