Very nice shots. They don't even look like photos, more like graphic art. Love the colors you got with these.

The secret is having something colorful under the glass that you are shooting the water and oil in. I used one of my son's I-Spy books. The only thing I did w/ these was up the saturation and sharpen a little.

I assume you were moving the camera around to get color variations or was someone changing the location of the color material.I guess both would probably work.
