I think thats what it was anyway... Just wanted to share some super close up a.k.a. macro shots of some dragon eyes. Part of the reason they are my favorite macro subject!

Upon further inspection, I think it might have been a Autumn Meadowhawk (Sympetrum vicinum) or at least, some kind of meadowhawk.

Eastern Band-winged Meadowhawk (Sympetrum semicinctum semicinctum). Maybe?
