Critique: NC:

Had a little minor surgery, been laying low for a few days.

I'm still chasing the get close photos. The Raynox DCR-250 attached to the fixed lens of the S3is is yielding (I think) some pretty decent close ups but I need to do a lot of research and practice to get to the point of acceptable macro shots I have seen by others with P&S equipment. The blured background is very elusive, any hints? Please C&C this photo,I forgot to check it

Here's a sneak preview of where I am today.

I know when I'm shooting macro with my Canon S2 IS, I use the Opteka close up filter, I manaully run the F stop as low as it can go. Even then, the DOF is pretty large. Unfortunately, I'm in the same boat as you when it comes to my P&S... which is why I rare, if ever, use it anymore lol.

G,,,,,I wish I had an option but don't and nothing in the future unless I hit the lottery.I'll just have to keep experimenting with different things, that's kinda fun too.
