What do you think?
The goal here was more of a dramatic still life but I did use my macro lens to be able to focus that close and the detail of the limes in the high res is awesome.
Yet another one of my shots that doesn't really fit into any of the designated forums, sorry.

Wonderful shot - I like the combination of colors, texture and lighting.

It's different. I like it. However, I would prefer it flipped so the limes are on the right, but that is a personal preference.

Add a Corona off to the side, and this would sell as a beer ad! J/K, that would be demeaning to your artistry. I think you could crop out a bit of the dead space above, but not too much. All in all, love the shot... makes my mouth water!

It would be interesting to see this re-created with a sweating bottle of brew, or even better, a fun margarita in a clear glass with lots of colored salt.

Another thought, do this shot with key limes.

Just some artistic inspiration, take it or leave it.

Anthony

This is such a good idea, I think I will steal it and try to do something similar.

Not that I can do better, but I love the concept and might try a few different things.

Thanks for sharing.

How funny you should post this today. I just went and bought huge Costco size bags of limes, lemons, oranges, grapefruits and Clementines so I can play with them in studio. Thanks for the amazing inspiration. I hope I get something half a nice in my fun over the next few days.
