man how do you keep those buggers to stand still for you. I have only gotten 1 live "cool" fly with any amount of detail.

here is my shot, not sure what kind it is, but looks like he could put a hurtin on ya

I wonder if they would stay still if we put a little drop of honey or blood or something and let them come to it? Any thoughts?

i dont see how you can get them to stand so still. did you reverse your lens for those first three? that's very sharp for macro.

have you ever used a diopter along w/a reversed lens. i'll pull some out and check since i can put filters on mine.

Yes I have , I have used a 4x on the rev 50 , but the effect is minimal.
