TAMU Holistic Garden - 02-01-2009, 09:49 AM

This little spot on the Texas A&M campus is really nice. It's behind some of the horticulture science buildings and greenhouses. Bascially a teaching tool, but very nice to wander around in. Usually always something to see. Got some ideas for some mobile planters too.

#1 Gazania or Treasure flower from South Africa

#2 Poppy bud

#3 Honeybee doing its' thing

#4 'Nuther honeybee and cucumber beetle trying to share the same area

Thanks for stopping by, comments always welcomed.

Kenny the BG in #2 really makes Bud hairs stand out! Gosh could I have some fun with these little plants! Can't figure why you don't shoot more on these... looks like a very target rich area!

Thanks, Jim. Actually only 'discovered' it recently. Whole lot closer than Mercer, just have to walk a ways...parking--at least, where you don't have to worry about a ticket--is at a premium on the A&M campus.

I've been meaning to take a look at that garden. I've always gone to the Horticultural Gardens, which are off campus.
