A few 'Aggie' plant bugs - 04-06-2009, 08:08 AM

These were taken last week during the week. Few plant bugs(except for the first shot) from the strawflower bed that's just been inundated with bees, wasps and the like. All captured with Nikon D2X(F11,1/250,ISO100)-Nikkor 105 f4+80mm extension-R1C1 wireless flash and handheld. Hope you enjoy them.

#1 Harlequin bug portrait

#2 Assassin w/prey

#3 Leptoglossus, I think

# Same critter, different POV

Thanks for looking.

Kenny

I always find it interesting to see these critters up close. usually I am just trying to swat them away from my face. This is much more enjoyable seeing them this way

Thanks, Patrick. Yeah, I'd rather not have that big one in my face either.
