First visit to Zilker Botanical Gardens this year...

Using my custom diffused Canon Macro Twin Lite MT-24EX and the Canon 100mm macro lens with a 36mm extension tube. Shot at ISO 100, 1/250th, f/13, and flash in manual. I've found using E-TTL with the MT-24EX to be a bit difficult because the pre-flash scares the cirtters and the exposure is inconsistent.

Simply amazing! I've got to get the Nikon equivalent flash setup soon... :) I think you Canon shooters have better options in this regard. I just got my Macro lens 10 days ago. Tons of fun... :)

Well, the Canon shooters do have the best macro lens anyway: the MP-E 65mm. Nikon's twinlight equivalent, the R1C1 (w/SU800 cmdr) or R1 (w/out) is a nice piece of gear and well worth the price. I only wish the individual lights, the SB-R200's swiveled, as do the ones on the MT-24EX.
