WTB: Toddler Board Books

I'm spending the next couple of weeks video taping my husband reading books - for our 2 year old. She'll get a 'mail box' package every week or so - of Daddy reading her a book while he's deployed.

I'm going to hit half priced books/Katy Budget Books - but thought if someone had some they'd like to sell - I'm interested in buying them. Local would be better - as shipping costs could potentially be more than the books! *grin*

Thanks! But yeah, we need to 'keep' the books. The plan is that he is going to send her packages every week - with a DVD of him reading the book to her - along with the book in the package.

He's not 'actually' going to send her a package - we are creating them in advance, and then I'll pick one and when we go get the mail - it'll be in the mail box for her.

At 2 - she's going to 'forget' without the constant reminders/videos - and my goal is that when he gets home - she isn't running the other way in 'terror' because she doesn't 'know' him.

Do you have a Freecycle group in your area? I just got a bunch of free toddler books from mine and it would be worth asking.

Donna, I have a million of board books that my boys have outgrown, if you like I can meet you someplace and give them to you.

I am in Missouri City, I have a session in Fulshear (off of Highway 99) on Thursday evening, I can meet you with the books after the session.

My session isn't until about 6pm, so depending on the time of the gtg i can either meet you before or try to attend the gtg afterwards.
