FOUND - Baby jogger type stroller

Hoping someone in the Dallas area has outgrown the need for a jogger style stroller. We don't have our granddaughter very often, so I hate to spend the $$$ on a new one, but we will have her for a few upcoming weekends and on two of them, we are participating in two walks - one for Juvenile Diabetes and also the Komen Walk in October. Having one of these would make my life easier for the next month or so.......so, if you have one gathering dust in your garage, please send me a PM. Thanks!

I wish I could convince my wife to give up ours ... our youngest son is getting too big for strollers.

Well, if you aren't ready to give it up, would you consider "renting it out" for a weekend or two coming up? LOL, but not really kidding. I need one for two specific events - 1 in September and 1 in October. One of my friends was going to see if they still had theirs; if not, I really would love to rent one for a weekend or two. My husband told me last night I was not, under any circumstances, going to go buy one for $300+ or more. Such a spoilsport.......guess I shouldn't mention those Radio Popper JrX's I just got.

I'd be willing to rent it out. If you like, I can send you a pic of what I have. It's a hybrid, in that the front wheel unlocks to make it a "regular" stroller and then locks to make it a jogging stroller. It's got air-filled rubber wheels, a canopy and drink holder.

Let me know if you do need it, and I'm sure we can works something out. When would you need it (specifically)?

Yeah, I'd love to see what it looks like. We want to take Nicole with us when we do the Juvenile Diabetes Walk on September 26 and possibly to do the Komen race, which I think is October 17. I'll have to double check that. Her little fold down stroller just won't cut it, though. Wish someone had one big enough for me to ride in!

Thanks Todd. I'll let you know if my friend has gotten rid of theirs. I really think we should just buy one and give it to our son and daughter-in-law as an early Christmas present. We'll see who wins the pocketbook debate. LOL.

Todd, my friend did still have their Baby Trend jogger, sitting in the attic. Just brought it by my office, so we're set for the next two months. I do appreciate your offer, though. That's why I love this forum.....good people!
