FS: Low Mileage 2006 350Z Long Block engine - 09-18-2009, 03:52 PM

I own a 2003 Infiniti g35 Coupe. The other day, my engine went out, so my mechanic told me to buy one on ebay and he'll install it. He told me to get one from "at least" a 2006 so that it will be newer, less miles. Anyway, I bought one on ebay, had it shipped, and now he is telling me that it won't work in a 2003 because the heads are different. Anyway, I know this is a long shot, but if anyone needs an engine for a 2006 G35 or 350Z, Call me. I have one. The guy that I bought it from said that the car had less than 20,000 miles on it when he pulled the motor to install a built motor from z1 motorsports. This one sat in his garage with all of the ports covered. It looks new. Pictures to come... A long block in this shape usually goes for around $3,000. I am asking $2,000. Local pickup preferred, or you can use engineshipping.com to pick it up from me if you like.

You mean you don't deliver?
If you sale it and some one needs a truck to haul it, let me know?
I got your back!

I wonder if it fits in my Ford Pinto!

Try posting here:

www.g35driver.com

Look for the D/FW section. I'm an 07 G35 owner and a lot of folks there are pretty hard on their engines.

Here is the D/FW link:

Did I tell you I do their shirts?

the blocks are the same, so just swap the heads. you're old head is probably fine. i'm guessing since it's a VQ35DE is probably just has lower internal issues (spun rod, burnt rings, etc)
