FS: Beautiful home with separate studio - 10-15-2010, 08:53 AM

It is with a mixed bag of emotions that I'm finally biting the bullet and have listed my home and separate photography studio for sale. Those of you who have been here know how ideal this set-up is for a photographer. Here a link to the listing...
http://www.forsalebyowner.com/listing/UGB14?utm_source=website&utm_medium=email&utm_camp aign=Email%2Ba%2BFriend

More images of the studio can be seen on the "Sharing the Passion" page of my website.

Since many of you will be wondering why I would chose to sell a property I've put my heart and soul into for so many years, in brief, my daughter is a senior in high school and will be spreading her wings and soaring to new places in a matter of months. I want to be prepared to do the same when that time comes. With my new book coming out in March and more of those in my mind I am preparing for many new adventures in my life. The nice thing is, no matter where I end up I can stay connected to my friends here and through facebook.

Oh, but if I had the money and the desire to live up there... it is an awesome house and property.

Funny Chris. There's actually room for all. You'd have to flip a coin over the master bedroom though, it's one of my favorite rooms in the house. My daughter's room is almost as big though, with a walk in closet and attached bathroom.

Here's a different listing with more pictures.

Heh, there's also the "desire to live there" part... I love the area to visit, but would not want to live there. LOL

You've got a problem with Frisco? We've got great schools, close enough to Dallas and any other "city" activities you could want, but far enough out to feel more rural. We no longer have to drive 10+ miles for groceries, banking or a movie. And the nice thing about my place is that no matter how much growth moves my way, I'll never feel encroached upon here. My neighbors will never be any closer than they are now. What's not to love about that? Unless of course you actually ENJOY living spittin' distance from your neighbors.

Heh, no, I have no problem with the neighborhood, if I were going to live in a busy city - that would be a *great* place to live. Its the encroaching North Dallas that bugs me. Driving 10+ miles for groceries actually sounds kinda nice.

(I don't particularly like the area of town where I live, either .. but I'm already stuck here. I wouldn't want to move somewhere that's similar. If I move, its going to be out where I'll have to drive 15+ miles for groceries. LOL)

Brad... dont you live in Arlington? I'd choose a third world country before I chose Arlington. Have you been in the traffic around there lately? LOL

Well, not Arlington proper, but that's exactly what I mean... if I move, its not going to be to an area with the same kind of traffic. LOL

The traffic is horrible anywhere around the Grapevine/Arlington/Mid-Cities area! I've lived here for 20 years, and I hate having to get out to go anywhere during the busy times of the day.

That's true, it's always busy. I should have said, "During the busiest time of the day..."
