SOLD: LNIB Drobo S 1st Generation - 05-19-2011, 01:09 PM

***Please note, this sale does not include the drives pictured.

I have a LNIB Drobo S 1st generation FW800/eSATA/USB 2 for sale. Mint condition, functionally and aesthetically. I purchased this because I am not the most tech savvy person - this was REALLY easy to set up...pretty much plug & play. I've already outgrown this and it's time to upgrade. Less than 1 year old. Smoke-free environment. Comes with box and all that was included as new. I will cover PayPal fees, price is now SOLD PLUS actual shipping. CONUS only.

Namaste!

Man, there is nothing quite like a drobo. I think I will eventually get one for our backups here at work.

Were completely tape-less baby!

Free bump for your sale.

Just wondering why not replace the drives you've got with bigger ones? When I configured by Drobo I created a 8Tb volume even though my 4 drives together we only 2.5Tb or so... when I need more space I will take out one of the drives, insert a 2Tb one and let the Drobo do its magic to redistribute the data.

I have it configured for 18TB. I would just stick bigger drives in there, but I am looking to add additional redundancy and create some striped working drives. Therefore, I am going in a different direction.

It has FW800 and SATA, both of which are speedy enough.
