1986 Toyota Pickup Xtra Cab 4x4 SR5 - 06-07-2011, 03:06 PM

Item is: SOLD:
Model: Xtra Cab SR5
Price: 3900 OBO
State: TX

1986 Toyota Pickup Xtra Cab 4x4 SR5
148k
22-RE
5-SPD
Original Aisin hubs
All original
No Rust
New timing chain and Valve Job
In Awesome shape for it's age.
Good tires
Large Tool Box
Maintenance Records Kept
Very Efficient Reliable truck
Current Inspection Sticker, this is it's last year for an emissions test until Texas considers it an antique vehicle.

Everything works on the truck, but there are a couple small things that I may get to before selling it.
The truck runs Very Well but when I had the timing chain replaced the valves weren't adjusted well and the valve train is alittle noisy, either that or the valve cover was over torqued.
The front bumper was bent by the original owner, if I can find one I will replace it.
It's time for the radiator hoses to be changed, I believe they original and they are collapsing under a heavy load causing the truck to get hot.

I'm asking $3900 or best offer. Call or Text - 972 591 1525 | Will Consider partial trades for camera (Nikon) or Computer Gear (Mac)

Walk around & engine running and driving

That's a whole lot cleaner than my '85.
Pretty much the same truck except mine's 2WD. Oh, and uglier.

But it IS my daily driver.

I'm not gonna lie, I wish I didn't sell it, I've needed a truck a handful of time since I got rid if it, but even with only 150k on it the 22-RE was tired. We may get a newer Double Cab Tacoma later on though.

I picked mine up about six years ago.
I got it for free. The kid I got it from had blown the engine, and it sat for five years.

Rebuilt motor, rebuilt carb, rebuilt alternator, master and slave for the clutch, clutch package, new radiator, etc, etc, etc.
I have way too much into it to let it go. Like I said. Mine's ugly, but it's a healthy beast with only about 6,000 miles on the drive train.
