Nikolai,
I'm very interested, but a little low on toy money right now. Any way to make a full/partial trade for some glass, lighting, or what have you? I'm willing to part with a good piece of glass for this, MF or AF.

What do you have? I have someone in line, but you're next if he falls through.

I have a ton of glass, mostly MF and some AF. Name your choices and let me see what I can do. I have a bunch of continuous lights, stands, umbrellas, etc.

Awesome gun. I owned three Rugers at one point and I was happier than a pig in slop.

question: what is the proper procedure to purchase a hand gun from and individual in Texas? Would I need a CHL? Does it get registered somehow ?
Is there paperwork involved other than a bill of sale?

Is there paperwork involved other than a bill of sale? | Texas has no requirements. It is smart that you complete a bill of sale with a copy of the purchasers DL.
You can also go to your local FFL shop and do their background check service. This will also register the gun in your name. Otherwise, you don't need anything else. Nikolai added 795 Minutes and 4 Seconds later...Double Post Merged Below
Gun is still for sale.

Nikolai, is this a really good price for something like this? I haven't never owned a gun...don't think I have even fired a pistol. If I want to get my first gun, is this a good first gun? Or is there something else that would be better? Why are you selling?
Thanks! | | | |

If I had the money I would consider this. I have one now (about 10 years old) and it shoots like a dream. Never given me any problems.

Nikolai,
I've passed your ad on to a couple of friends here in SA. Sweet gun...would probably take it myself except not sure of the requirements since I'm not a citizen of the good ol' US of A.
Regards,

Thanks! | Yes, this is a great first gun. It's simple, safe and it's reliable. It was my first personally owned handgun, and I haven't been disappointed. For the price point, I don't think you could get much better. There are other options, but their differences are slight.
I bought this gun new from Academy Sports for $379 and tax. I am selling it to move on to something else. Otherwise, if my budget permitted, I would keep it for range and home d service.
