    About Me
I'm an observer in life, and I'm here to share a glimpse of an incision in time... a tidbit of time that can never be repeated again in the exact same way. I don't shoot what people want to see, I shoot what they don't notice. I shoot the expression between.

It's a moment in time I capture, it's moments in time that stay with us all...

A photograph can give a subject immortality...

Although not really important, I get asked about gear, even though I don't believe it's all gear that makes the image. Technology will "aid" to a degree the image process, but it's not the end-all. So here's the gear:

    Digital:
    Nikon D3
    Nikon D1x
    Nikon D200 (IR)
    Epson R-D1 Digital Rangefinder

    Film (35):
    Nikon F5
    Nikon N90s
    Nikon FE2
    Voigtlander Bessa R4a
    Olympus OM2
    Olympus OM10
    Olympus OM77af
    Olympus OM707
    nimslo 3D
    Kodak Retina Ia
    Russian Fed 5c

    Film (medium format)
    graflex baby crown
    mamiya m645 1000s
    bronica RF645 Rangefinder
    pentax 67II
    agfa isolette
    Holga N

Tons of lenses, no zooms, only primes. Too many to list...

    Film I use, exclusively
    Agfachrome
    Agfapan
    Kodak plus-x
    Kodak tri-x 320 pro
    Ilford FP4
    Arista 50
    Kodak EPP
    Fuji velvia & astia

I develop my own B/W in Agfa Rodinal, Kodak HC-110, Diafine.

"Photographers deal in things which are continually
vanishing and when they have vanished there is no
contrivance on earth which can make them come
    back again."
    -Henri Cartier Bresson
