I apologize. I just saw your message. I may have seen the Kia around but I can't remember right now. I really don't do a whole lot of shoots because I have to work full time to pay the bills. If I have something come up I'll let y'all know. Let me know your's or your husband's email so I can get in touch.
I would recommend checking out some of sites of the top automotive photographers around and study the angles, locations and lighting.
Here is also a good site for reference.
I learned a lot by just researching many, many sites and getting out and practicing. The monthly Cars and Coffee show in Leander is a great place to just walk around and try new angles, lenses, focal lengths, etc. etc. Make sure you get a good circular polarizer, too to help with reflections.
Hope this helps.
