- Doggedly working and saving to purchase more photo gear. Primarily interested in landscapes, having been seduced as a teen by the beauty and ancestral siren songs of the Four Corners. The abundance here of sprawling plant life and the water that makes it thrive is an enchanting contrast to the hardiness and aridity of the desert Southwest. Everything gets a lot tougher as we go west, but what a beautiful transitional magic carpet the Hill Country creates along the way. Follow the Colorado River in either direction and you'll hear the stories of our lives. With the 20D, I'm attempting to capture the unique aspects of color, texture and heft of Central Texas terrain. If I listen close enough, I hope to see it soon.

- I believe photographers have a bit of the poet in them, using a camera and image editing applications to create images of life on earth that will move viewers to feel, think and wonder from a different angle than they had before seeing their work. A lot of craft goes into seeing, composing, capturing and editing an image, but in the end the ability to connect with others is the measure of one's talent.
