Hey Pam, for the Nikon it costs around $50 so it really depends if your going to use it. It will show you only the center of the frame so you'll have to get your composition before looking through the price. I have only used it on set-up shots. Never outside, may have to try that though. To me it is very helpful for these very close macro shots using manual focus.
