- Single dad with 2 college age sons, so therefore you know I'm broke most of the time ; ) I have piddled with photography since high school, which was a long time ago. My parents game me an Olympus Om 20 I think it was for graduation. Once I got married and kids came along, I out it down. as my boys got a little older I picked it up again with a Nikon N 70 35mm. That progressed to a Nikon D70s, and now a D-300 and a couple of good lens. I do the photography thing as a serious hobby with aspirations of turning it into part time retirement income some day, but I love learning about it. The studio lighting has been a strong learning curve, almost starting over.. : ), but I am slowly catching on.
