About Me
I am retired from the US Army after 22 years. I have been taking pictures for the last few years, some during my Iraq deployments, as well as the numerous places I get sent for schools and of course around Texas.
I have been to some of the most amazing places on the planet, and unfortunately didn't have a camera for most of them. Now my camera goes with me everywhere I go day or night, even on the golf course.
Looking forward to retiring in the next year after this last deployment and taking a long vacation just traveling around to all the great photo spots in the US and seeing what I can really do behind the camera.
Favorite Aspect of Photography
Once in awhile you are in the right place at the right time. You snap a pic, and later see it, finding that you are even amazed at yourself for being able to see something in a way that the rest of the world missed as they walked right by. More so, being able to share that image, that view of something, with everyone and having them realize what they would see if they just stopped for a second and took the time to look and appreciate all the beauty that is in the world.
