- The better my photos get, the more people compliment my equipment. I started shooting on the job as a reporter when editors saw I had some aptitude and they didn't have to send along a "real" photographer. That was a long time ago. Now, a lot of people know me as the photographer and a lot of other people know me as the writer, public relations guy.

- I like photojournalism, street and event photography. It is immediate. It is difficult to stage. You get it or you don't.
