Ansel Adams at Half Price Books

I have found a few of his books at Hastings. They often have used books 5 for $25.00. Recently, I got Ansel Adams - Trees it was used, and marked $24.99, but I got 4 other books too! ($50.00 new!)

I love finding photo books like this for a bargain.

Nice! I am going to have to start using the Shelves app on my phone so I remember which ones I have.

I have many of his books in my Book Collection, two orignal prints in my Photo Collection and had the pleasure of meeting Ansel a few months before he passed. The one thing I will always remember from that meeting was I was the most important person standing and chatting with him.

Me too! I know I have others, but they're still in boxes. I can't remember what they are, only that they have black and white photos LOL

That's what I always hear. Very inspiring to know what a truly great person he was. It makes me enjoy his work that much more. I really wish I had the opportunity to meet him.

I have five photo books of his including the nicely bound Ansel Adams at 100, and I have his main set of four technique books along with the autobiography.
