Hey Jake, that was pretty cool! I have an iphone 4 but I'm surprised that it could handle that kind of processing.

This appears to be a commercial jet. I can't help but wonder..

- How did you get the camera (phone) stabalaized?
- How did you avoid reflections on the window?
- What ap did you use to put it all together in the phone

I used this app:
TimeLapse - the time lapse iPhone app

I've tried a couple of different TL apps and that one is my favorite.

I braced my arm on the arm rest and iphone against the window and held it as still as I could. My arm hurt for about 45 minutes after we landed!

You can see some reflection, but I guess the time of day helped the most for that.

Weren't you supposed to turn off electrical devices while landing?

That App looks cool. I can't believe you held your arm like that the whole time

Haha, well I always get yelled at for having my ipod on because they say to turn off all electronic devices. Just curious if they had changed the rules (especially since I haven't flown in a while).

Next time I think you should pack duct tape and just tape it to the window. As long as security doesn't stop you from having tape. Although, if you can bring small scissors and screwdrivers, I don't know what would be wrong with tape.

Nice, Jake! I bought that app on your earlier recommendation and I keep forgetting that I have it. The little use I have done, I've been pretty impressed with. I bet this would be kick ass on a iPhone 4S.

Well, it was really only for about 20 minutes not the whole flight.

I was in airplane mode but they did say to turn off all electronic devices, I just didn't hear them....

Jump in Man, it's way cool. Even better on the I4 variants cuz you can frame the shot easier.
Great vid Jake!
