Good timing on the first one Bruce with two ready to land. I'd like to see what it looked like a half second later. There's not room for any more BBWDs in that tree.

Cool group shot! The landing Wood Duck and flying heron are both nice and sharp. I'm no bird expert but I had no idea Wood Ducks had talons.

Thanks. Since these guys nest in trees, you can stake out the nest at sunset and get some interesting shots. These are at Elm Lake near the bathrooms. Hope to see you down here soon, Bill. :) Sandy's turned into a Chicken! ;)
