Glamour Shot - 06-19-2009, 11:07 AM

well...sort of...

This nice Katydid posed for me among the Purple Cone flowers at the Mercer Arboretum this morning. I didn't even have to get a Model Release.

Sony Alpha 700, Minolta 200mm macro lens, Gitzo 1225 Tripod, natural lighting, f/11

Nice close-up, Therese - sharp details. Are you sure it is a Katydid - it looks like a grasshopper to me (and I am no bug expert by any means).
