LOL, I know, you're all breathing a sigh of relief. Must rename 40 Acre Lake to Yuck Lake  Looking for a little brunch  or resting  "Just wait until my colors come out later & I will be pretty"! Heck Leon it's my favorite nature shootin' place and I always enjoy seeing what other folks get on their trips. Those lakes have been overgrown like that every summer for the twenty five years I've been going out there so I guess it looks normal to me.  Another fine series!--------------------------- Jim |

If you would tell a Minnesotan (used to be) that these are lakes he would laugh himself silly. Words like swamp, marsh, bog, all come to mind. That's fine. It makes for some great shooting like the ones you just posted. |

Thks Jim(jfoureyes)-Yeah just nature doing its work. It is a real jewel for wildlife, no doubt. Thks Gerald-LOL it is a different type of habitat, but like you said I love it for the wildlife, it is unbelieveable that in 30 minutes from there you could be in that nonstrosity called Houston & enjoy the dead concrete canyons-thank goodness we are lucky enough to have this place!
