Speaking of Sea Gulls and background changes...

I believe I posted the first shot awhile back, with the 2 birds in it. I really was not that happy with it so I did a little work on it.

Removed one of the gulls and replaced the sky with an image I had.

Comments ???

I like it very much. I want to be able to do this -- take two good pics and make one great pic.

This one was so easy to do, just took about 5 min.
Extract the bird, and paste it in the new one...

easy for you maybe, but you lost me at "extract the bird".....
I also would like some tips on this kind of manipulation

You did a great job on extracting. When I look at both shots, I keep thinking that the first photo (the original) looks less realistic than your second photo! :)
