Excited, Nervous, All the Above... - 10-05-2009, 04:58 PM

Hi, for the first time I'm going to try my hand at selling my images as a vendor at our school carnival October 17th. West University does everything BIG, so there will be lots of folks in attendance. I'm excited, but nervous hoping I sell a few and at least break even. I remember dropping off my images on the CD to be made into 11x14 and 8x10 prints thinking, "What I have I done now?"-LOL

Ahhhh, you'll do fine. Are you going to sell your bear photos?

I'm sure you will do fine Therese, you've got some great shots that would be great on someones wall. I kind of did the same thing a few weeks ago and was nervous about that also. I shared a booth with my sister at a local arts & craft sale and I brought a few of my favorite nature shots. I sold about a dozen 8x10 so it wasn't a complete bust.

LOL, Ken! I've already had the prints made, but I know what you mean. I had a Day Lily print developed on metallic paper and it looked pretty darned nice.

Hey Lisa-I'll give you a report after the carnival. This carnival has all sorts of booths with jewelry, purses, holiday decorations, etc. I'll let ya know how it goes.

Good luck and I bet you will do fine. You might want to frame 1 or 2 to show as an example of what the finished product will look like.

Thanks Lonnie! Right now I'm short on $ after getting the prints developed but that's a really great idea.
