If you can get out there real early in the morning (7:00 am) you can find them covered with dew and real easy to capture before they get active...they are in all the prairie areas of the park.

I went there early in the morning (so early that no one checked for my pass) the last 3 days looking for any dew covered creature, but I got no luck.

It depends on the humidity and it's usually pretty high out there unless we get a cool front blow in this time of year... I work the grassy prairie areas that are in the shade early in the mornings, if the grass is wet all the critters that are hiding in it will be covered in dew too.

Nice Duc!! I like both of them and the DOF on the first one is really neat as it pops out the body. Excellent shot IMO
