Deer activity in coastal Texas - 03-14-2010, 04:00 PM

Stopped at Aransas NWR Friday & got a few deer + others I'll post later.

The 1st 3 were shot near the back loop off some marsh areas & the last 3 were shot near the entrance to the Refuge.

Enjoy

Yeah, that place is huge! I went there for the first time during the drought. Looks like the wildlife are coming around again.

Leon, It looks like you had a great time. Did the deer ever know you were there?

Jim, Johnny, Sandy & Billy- thks for looking & commenting!!
Sandy the area is now prety much flooded in tghe back areas-the drought has broken bit time!
Billy good to hear from you-some instance they didn't realize I wa there but on others the click of the cam would bring a stare my way.

Nice shots Leon. I remember going there as a kid and seeing herds of deer all over the place. I've not been back in many many moons.

Thks Jerome-they've had a lot of rain and most of the marshes were flooded so all wildlife sighting was limited.
