I have done it….a few times…. I tend the throw cards and thumb drives in my pockets, I would guess 10-20 times… washer and dryer.

Still working… I normally give them a couple days to dry out before I try them. I will also put them in a bag of rice… the silly cell phone trick.

Haven't washed a CF card yet, but I wash my thumb drives all the time. So far, I've been lucky.

See my friend you're not soooo strange after all...I'd have to wash my camera bag or card reader to do mine...I've got two spares anyway just in case...

I've washed and dried numerous thumbs drives, without incident. Never cleaned a CF though....not yet anyway.

Therese, look at the bright side, at least, you wash your clothes! I did have an employee who used to spray Febreze onto her scrubs instead of washing them... All along, I thought it was the patients' breath... Tri.
