One More Pug-Mark Big Cat Gallery for You - 03-01-2005, 07:10 PM

Well I wasn't sure if I should start yet another thread or barge in on somebody elses, but I've finally put together a gallery of images from Saturday's shoot. PBase has had some intermittent problems with direct linking lately so I'm just going to link to the gallery. As always, comments, critiques and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Bill, that's my favorite shot too. Sugar may not be as big as the tigers, but she definitely made up for it in attitude. :) It was nice meeting you and chatting on saturday; that photo shoot was definitely an experience to remember.

Really nice set of images. Sugar definitely can make for a nice shot when she starts a charge towards the fence. Such intensity on her face. Very well done.

Tell me about it. And when you're looking through a zoomed lens it's hard to tell how close she really is as she charges. She charged me a couple of times and I got several shots but most of them the focus was off, D70's AF-C seemed to have a hard time keeping up. Maybe I should have tried the "closest subject" focus mode, wonder if that would have worked better. That or get a D2H/D2X (wishful thinking :) ).
