Dickinson Bayou Boat Trip - 06-06-2010, 11:35 AM

Took a ride with friends early yesterday to capture some scenes on this under appreciated bayou. Firsts for me include a coyote, an osprey, and a great blue heron in flight. These did not stay sharp in the conversion. Sorry. I am still hit or miss in that process.

Thanks all. I am gonna have to woodshed my web conversion techniques. Sometimes my images stay sharp and then I can't remember what I did. Oh well, glad you enjoyed them.

Thanks for all of the kind words. We were in or on a pontoon boat. So I mostly had the EF 100-400 f4-5.6 L on the tripod. I bought a new gimbal mount but left the tripod ring with the mount on it at home. So I uses my ball head. I must say I was not expecting a coyote to show up for sure. The Osprey was a real find for me with a camera in my hands. I must say I continue to be impressed by the 7D 100-400 combo. Mine copies of both seem good.
