Great capture Jay. Having to wait for a buffalo crossing is a problem that I'd love to have around here. Very cool.

Patti, I am not sure what it is.

Tim, thanks. looks like you also had good timing on the falcon feeding on shore bird. great shots.

Ron, yes, got buffalos, grizzly, elk, yellow belly marmots, bald eagle, white pelican, trumpeter swan, wolf, big horn sheep / Ram, grey horned owl and their two chicks and few others cant remember. It was fun.

Nice job, Jay.

We just got back from Yellowstone/Grand Teton/Rocky Mountain National Parks on Saturday. I'm about half way through my ~2,100 photos so far and haven't yet gotten to my coyote photos. I got the same animals you mention plus a couple more, including badgers, a pika, a long-tailed weasel and mountain goats.

For anyone who hasn't been to Yellowstone, I don't think there is anyplace like it outside of Africa as far as access to animals is concerned.

Jay,

Nice shots! He doesn't look too pleased to know you're watching him eat his lunch, though! Good thing coyotes seldom attack people, isn't it just?! By the by, it almost looks like what he's eating is something that was flattened in the road, judging from that last photo.

Thanks for sharing some neat images!
Sam
