Misc Flowers - 08-07-2010, 02:20 PM

I spotted a bouquet of flowers that had eye-catching colors and decided to surprise my wife with a bouquet - just cause. All shot on a tripod with various levels of flash as fill.

Thank you Therese. I did buy the flowers for my wife, and then they became photo subjects (that's my story, ...). I generally need all the "spousal points" I can get (I burn though them pretty fast).

LOL, Ron. The funny part is that I had the flowers in the vase sitting on the kitchen counter in plain sight when she entered the house; she failed to see them - walked right by!!

John, They are beautiful and you did a great job with the composition and dark background! Too funny that she didn't see them!

Well done John, great colors. My wife has come to realize that any flowers in the house are fair game for the camera so whoever brings them home, they are considered 'ours'.

Thank you Patti, Dan, and Jim. Dan, I see we both operate under the same "rule of the flowers".

Nice picture with gorgeous colors! A few more of these and maybe, just maybe you can spring for another lens/camera. Naw, you will have to anti-up more.

Thank you Leon and David. David, unfortunately flowers are not an acknowledged form of currency in this household. Spousal points is all I can get from them and those are used to get/stay out of trouble.
