Rodeo Train Wreck! - 08-07-2010, 03:27 PM

Went out to the local rodeo last night to see about catching some action shots. This was the wildest ride of the night. Both horse and rider probably received a few bruises, but were basically unharmed and walked away.

Wow. Great sequence! Interesting to watch the expressions on the faces of the guys next to him. From laughing to mild concern to "Holy &#!&" in seconds.

Thanks, Ron. I've been back looking for those longhorns four times this week and nada, nothing, zip! I guess they've been moved to greener pastures!

Thanks! Something about how this horse stood in the shut then jumped out made me think the end result was not gonna be a pretty! But the horse headed to the back pens and the rider got a re-ride!

I thought the same thing while looking at these after I downloaded them, Patti. The tall slender guy's expression did not change much, but I know he was a bit concerned.

Thanks, Leon. It's sure fun to catch action shots like this. I did not go Saturday night, but heard I missed a chance to get some shots of a wicked bull ride! Perhaps another time.
