I sure miss Texas, but I haven't put my camera down... - 08-24-2010, 07:20 PM

Greetings friends -

I'm still stuck in the rust belt trying to shove a Masters Degree into a 40 year old brain. I realized of late that if I get out at least once a week and make some images while the weather is still manageable that I think much more clearly when I get back into cubicle city to work on my thesis. So here are a few that I've shot lately...

I've kept the sizes small to conserve a little bit of bandwidth/disk space. The only one that has gotten any special treatment is the first one, which is an HDR (and tack sharp at 2850x2250 though I still need to clean up the halo on his tail).

All signs point to returning to Texas once I finish school. Nothing is 100% until my carcass actually arrives and signs in, but every indication is it will be a return trip to my adopted home state in the spring (just in time for wildflowers and bird migration...)

Hope all has been well for you and yours...

-jim

Very nice images, Jim. Good luck on the Masters program -- the mind can take it so push it.

Good ones! Cool that you can see the frogs feet under water. Can't see that in my muddy pond.

Congrat's on the photo's and your advanced degree. More ambition than I've got. Good work on both fronts.
