Today was a down day for me. Was pretty worn from the past few days. Plan on an early start in the morning. Here is one that I thought was different than that I am used to seeing for a pedestrian crossing....

A few from yesterday... Please pardon if they don't quite appear right.... I am trying to process these on a laptop with not a great display.

Wildfires near the airport and Grand Teton National Park. For scale, the little white dots in the bottom right are cars...

Thank you, Dave.

Today I hiked to Inspiration Point. It made for a long day.... I am not a fast walker especially with a camera. I think I am now suffering from rubberneck from trying to take in all the wonderful views from the hike.

Here are a few from today....

No grizzly bears yet....Hopefully this coming week. I really want to make another trip to the north part of Yellowstone. I have a better idea of what I want to see and the time of day. Sorry I missed you! I have been here since Sunday. Look forward to seeing your photos.

Jennifer,

Wish I could have made the trip.
You're getting some great images. Have you been around the Dunraven Pass area yet?
Almost always a bear or two in the area.
Good luck, be safe

Sorry for the delay in an update. The Teton Photo Tour just wrapped up.

What an amazing day! Had the experience of a lifetime today as a moose popped out of the middle of the pond and ran strait for me! The moose was spooked by an helicopter flying in the area. She was about 15' away before coming to a full stop then continuing its sprint to the right of me. She had her eyes locked on me - and I had my eyes locked on her.

Wish you could have made it, too. It was an excellent photo tour. I cannot wait to do it again. Jeff and Wil were great guides.

I'll be heading back to Yellowstone on Tuesday. Maybe a grizzly there.
