Paying your dues in Yellowstone - 09-29-2010, 07:21 PM

Left early this morning for Hayden Valley the air was a crisp 27 degrees. Traversed the valley for 3 hours and nothing but geese and ducks. Moved on over Dunraven pass and the fire smoke was filling the valley so I knew that Lamar Valley was out of the question also. Just when I thought that it was time for me to just be paying my dues to the mighty Yellowstone I found l Bighorn Sheep. They were in their normal place on the Gardiner River a couple of miles before the north entrance. Obviously my dues were paid in full. Just of portion of the 83 shots I took before leaving.

Thanks Mark and Jeff for you comments and looking. Yellowstone takes from one area and give to another. Everytime I thought that I was skunked for the day she provided something else in another area. I should have never doubted her. She is a beautiful lady.

Nice job on these, Ken. Glad you were able to pull it off. Looks like the color change is in the works too!
