Tried my hand at some smaller birds today in Quintana's Neotropical Bird Sanctuary. Lots of work getting these fast moving birds, but worth the effort. Anna's Hummingbird by Dan Pancamo, on Flickr Anna's Hummingbird by Dan Pancamo, on Flickr

Nice Shots!
Good thing you didn't go there yesterday. I went, and it was a freezing, rainy disaster. I took 2 whole shots after a 90 mile drive.
Looks like I should have waited until today

Very nice shots Dan...great focus and details with nice colors...were you using a tele-converter on your 300mm lens?

Ron | Yea, the canon 2x... Works great with a few setting changes. I'm hearing that stacking an off brand 1.4x with the canon 1.4x may work better than just the 2x. | | | |
