Strangely enough I was just thinking about going there before I saw this post. I missed out last year and certainly would like to go and hopefully get a wood duck. I'm also looking for some wood duck shots... 2nd evening out in Herman Park and still none, just the same usual targets and the ring-necked ducks... Still early I think... Picked up some shots of the female this time... The park has been fixed up in the last few years... If you haven't been in awhile, it's really worth a trip... The Texas Mouse can also be seen swimming in the ponds... Largest one I've ever seen... Click on the images below for more of the same...
