A Few From The White Rock Spillway - 12-09-2010, 01:31 AM

Had a great time shooting these guys on a sunny but chilly autumn morning.
Probably should have shot a little under exposure on the whites, but I hadn't been out shooting in months and the thrill of it all got to me.

All but one of the shots were taken with a Canon50D with a 300mm prime and the 1.4 TC. the other was taken with a Nikon 300D and the 70-300 VR lens

Looks like you were having a fun time...great captures Thomas...agree with exposures on the whites...#2 would have some nice feather action...

Nice series. I really like the first GBH - sharp with really nice detail.

Nice pose in #1 too! My favorite is the last one, but I'm partial to GBHs.

My favorite is also the last one. I didn't pay much attention at the time to that rock, but when I opened the series up on my computer when I got home, it just smacked me how the rock really compliments the whole scene.
