Darn Patrick...think I would chunk it...just kidding...congrats on the new camera...looks like a great combination with the 300mm...were you using a teleconverter also?...very nice series...great focus and details even heavily cropped...believe the first one is a female Vemillion...great action pose on #3...great Killdeer shots...congrats on the Bald Eagle...I've spotted a pair of Eagles flying around Clear Creek between Friendswood and Pearland...hopefully maybe they are nesting somewhere along the creek...

Beautiful shots Patrick. Congrat's on the new toy. You're gonna be dangerous with that combo. Keep them coming.

Wow! Beautiful shots Patrick. I love the backgrounds on the first one and the Killdeer in flight. That Killdeer is amazingly sharp as are all of them. Great variety and great job!

Your shots look excellent! My heart still skips a beat when I see an eagle. That Vermillion Flycatcher female sure did put on a show! Congrats on your new camera and your first bald eagle. It was nice to shoot with you today. | | | |

These look great, especially the first one (my favorite). What lens did you use for these?

Ron | Thanks Ron - I appreciate the feedback. I was using the 1.4xTC on these. Quote:

Sweet! That's the odd 1.3x crop factor, right? (Odd for us Nikonians, that is...)
Stoked to see the Northern Harrier & Bald Eagle at our little local playground. Killdeer in flight = nearly impossible!
