Here's another image I took yesterday at Mercer Arboretum frolicking in the frost...well maybe not exactly frolicking. This Purple Cone flower was front lit which makes all the difference in the world. Thanks as always for looking

Sony Alpha 700, Minolta 200mm macro lens, Cable Release, Gitzo 3540LS tripod, natural lighting, f/16, brrrrrr

Freeze your tootsies off, huh? You're a braver man...er, woman...than me, Charlie Brown. You done good, too. Think that freeze probably took care of the few coneflowers that were left, too.

It was too cold yesterday....hmmmm...no wonder I didn't run into anyone else. Ah...a Charlie Brown quote...

Excellent. Love the composition. I was surprised there was still one out there. The ones in my garden bit the dust a long time ago.
