The sun is out! So i left for BBSP at 8:15 AM.... Trying to get the Vermillion Flycatcher.... then walked around Creekfield..

Was planning to go to BBSP yesterday, but got a late start and decided to head toward Galveston...very nice variety Will...as always enjoy your ID info on each photo...

Thanks all, for the nice comments, I had a series of that Bluebird but only this one with her beak open looked interesting. I think she's pretty! The bottom flycatcher was sitting on the sign leading into Creekfield and let me come as close as I could focus with my big lens. I think she wanted her picture taken!

Just curious, what part of BBSP did you see the Vermillion flycatcher in? I keep hearing of them being there, but never can seem to find them while I'm there. I may be going in the morning, so would appreciate any help finding them!

There are a male and a female at Elm Lake next to the water by the picnic area.
There is a female on 40 acre lake as you go towards the tower; she's on the left for the last week or 2. Someone said that there is a male also around the tower at 40 acre lake but never saw him!
