Just a plain ol' Blue Jay - 01-22-2011, 09:47 AM


I was out testing a new SD memory card to make sure it worked and this guy landed in the shrubs in front of my townhouse so I blasted him a few times...the card worked fine but my bird shootin' skills don't work so pretty good.....

I think you got something with the second image - i just don't know what that something is. Very unique representation of a blue jay.

That's not a plain ol blue jay, that a beautiful blue jay. Nice shots Jim! Looks like you're trying to give Tim a run for the money in the action blur catagory with that second shot.

You did pretty good as a bird shooter Jim. That second shot would be really cool if only his head was just a little recognizable. Most of my bird in flight shots turn out as abstracts whether I want them to or not.
