Snowflakes on My Face - 02-06-2011, 12:28 PM

I shot this through a double pane window during the height of our snowstorm on Friday morning. I used a Nikon D7000 coupled with a Nikkor 70-300mm VR lens.

The ISO was 800 at f/5.6 with an exposure of 1/500 and the focal length was 300mm.

C&C always appreciated

I'm usually against shooting through windows Jeff, but this is absolutely amazing on the colors, wonderful capture.

Thanks, Leon. I was pleasantly surprised I could get such crisp detail shooting through a window.

Can't believe you shot this through a window. Just beautiful. Such lush color amid the snow.

Thanks - I was really surprised at how crisp the shots turned out .... but I think the new Nikon D7000 camera had something to do with the outcome.

See there is a reason to keep the windows clean. Very nice capture Jeff.
