A Long Tail in the Garden - 02-14-2011, 12:14 PM

Long Tail in the Garden by Jeff Clow, on Flickr

Spring must just be around the corner with these anole lizards starting to show themselves in North Texas.

Of course it doesn't hurt that the temperature was around 70 degrees this past weekend.

C & C always appreciated.

Fascinating lines in this composition. I love the symmetry created by the metal hook and the lizard.

I think the whole image is a bit blue tinted. Anoles can turn an almost bluish-gray when they are injured, but they aren't that blue.

I don't see blue on my monitor so I probably need some monitor calibration.

Thanks for the comments.

Really neat composition. If Chris says they don't get that blue, I believe him, but I like the color in this photo, even if it isn't completely realistic.

I am with you Tim,I like it just the way it is. With the hook and the position of the lizard, it seems balanced.
